Dr. Melanie Mooney grew up in Munster, Indiana, and earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue University before obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a certificate in Business Management from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.
After falling in love with the Florida Panhandle, she chose to make the area her permanent home and enjoys spending her free time on its beautiful white sand beaches. Dr. Mooney lives with her fiancée and their two rescue dogs, Stella and Tebow.
She enjoys all aspects of general practice and is passionate about building lasting relationships with pets and their families. Her professional interests include nutrition, dermatology, and oncology. Above all, Dr. Mooney is dedicated to strengthening the human-animal bond and helping pets live happy, healthy lives alongside the people who love them.
